In this capacity, she oversees the CHCO Council and works with human capital leaders from across the federal government on the development and implementation of human capital strategies and policies. She also serves as the co-implementation lead for the Workforce Priority of the President's Management Agenda and advises the OPM Director on topics related to planning for the 'future of work' and federal recruiting and hiring.
Prior to serving at OPM, Margot spent the last 15 years at the Partnership for Public Service, a nonprofit organization focused on making the federal government more efficient and effective. Most recently she served as Director for Government Affairs and previously led the Federal Recruiting and Hiring Programs team. Margot also spent time at the White House Office of Management and Budget on a detail during the Obama-Biden administration.
Margot is a graduate of Wellesley College. She also holds a master's degree in Regional and Urban Planning Studies from the London School of Economics.
